1. Modernisation of Photo Zinco Press functioning in Central Survey Office, Chennai will be modernized at a cost of Rs. 1.00 Crore enable to print Survey Maps using modern technology. Implemented
2. LRMCs will be created in 100 more Taluks out of the remaining 131 Taluks at a total cost of Rs. 25.00 Crore. The computer and other IT products have been supplied to all the places to carry out the emergency work at the LRMCs to be created. Further, the funds were releaed to PWD through district Collectors concerned. Creating the partitions in 89 locations of LRMCs to be created at the Taluk offices and accordingly the work is in progress by PWD. And the action is in progress for the remaining locations.
3. Computers and accessories will be supplied at a cost of Rs.60.5 Lakhs to strengthen the administrative wing of those offices for maintaining Service Registers digitized and scanned. Implemented
4. Aadhar No. seeding on Land Records. Based on the judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court, necessary proposals have been sent to the Government, and orders are awaited.
5. Taluk Data Centres, will be established in the newly created 14 Taluk Offices at a total cost of Rs. 84.00 Lakh, for updation and maintenance of land records. Work order has been placed with ELCOT for the supply of the IT Products to the 14 locations. Purchase Orders and the supply are awaited from ELCOT.
6. Computer-generated FMS with online Patta. Implemented
7. Laptops will be provided to the remaining 161 D.I.S and 126 Land Records Draftsman out of 285 to equip them for efficiently pursuing online patta transfer. [Cost estimate: Rs. 1.12 Crore). Based on the judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court, necessary proposals have been sent to the Government, and orders are awaited.
8. Web-based software for Urban land records in all Corporations and Municipalities. All Urban land records except Nagercoil Town has been brought online. Nagercoil Town will be brought Online before 31.07.2020.
9. based software for Natham land records in all Corporations and Municipalities. Validation of data in pilot Taluks is completed. Software is being developed by NIC
